Camp Policies & Procedures
Summer Camps are for Kids Ages 7+
Sewing camp gives students ages 7-17 the opportunity to learn basic sewing skills while sewing clothing and crafts of the students choice. Each camp session runs for three days. Students need to have completed 1st Grade to come to camp. Honey Bee Sewing School provides the machines and equipment for the camp. Students/Parents will purchase their own fabric and notions for sewing camps. Students and parents will meet with me before the camp and we discuss goals and the student can pick what project they would like to sew. Kids Can Sew® Packets/Patterns can be purchased for an additional cost.
Registration and Payment: Payment and Registration form is due upon registration in a camp to hold the student's space. Spaces are limited and will go to those students who are registered and paid. There are no refunds unless I am able to secure a student to fill your child's reserved place (Refund will be less any credit card fees). If there is space in another camp I will allow student to transfer sewing camp dates with 14 days notice. Registration includes completion of a registration form/safety disclaimer form, and payment.
I do not prorate the fee for days missed and there are no make-up classes.
Camp Cancellations: If I must cancel due to weather events or illness, make-up days will be offered.
Snacks: Please have your child bring a small snack to sewing camp each day.
Supplies/Pattern Books: I provide the sewing machines, pins, scissors, bobbins, thread, elastic ruler. Students need to bring fabric for their project, pattern and other notions if needed.

Is sewing experience needed? No, all levels can attend sewing camp.
What will my child learn? Students will learn the basics of sewing including safety, threading sewing machine, basic stitches, pinning, ironing, seam allowance and basic pattern reading.
What will my child make? Since every student has different interests, levels and abilities, I prefer my students to have input in what they would like to make. I can give pattern suggestions based on your child desired project. Students and parents will meet with me before the camp and we discuss goals and the student can pick what project they would like to sew. Kids Can Sew® Packets/Patterns can be purchased for an additional cost.
How do I sign up? Call/Text (801) 209-9296/Email email@example.com to confirm current available camps sessions. Complete Camp Registration Form. Students can attend more than one session.
Payment can be made on my website through PayPal, Vemno @honeybeesewingschool, Cash or Check is also accepted.
